Six Planet Ambient Soundtracks
Each planet now has its own dedicated ambient music track, replacing the previous generated ambient system with full music tailored to each world.
Creature Artwork Expanded
Creature artwork coverage has been expanded across all six planets, giving every creature represented in the current game its own visual identity.
Planet Backgrounds Completed
Calypso, Arkadia, Cyrene, Next Island, Toulan and ROCKtropia now each have their own planetary background presentation inside the game.
Ascension & Long-Term Progression
Ascension forms a major part of long-term progression, allowing current progress to be exchanged for permanent bonuses that strengthen future runs.
Gameplay Presentation Improvements
Creature interaction, notifications, progression feedback, resource displays and other interface details have continued receiving polish throughout development.
PROJECT STATUS
The foundation is in place.
The current Calypso Afterlight build includes six planets, thirty-six creatures, hundreds of achievements, dozens of upgrades, discovery progression, crafting, professions, planetary music and Ascension.
Future development can continue building on those systems while the standalone website becomes the permanent home of the project.
